I am an experienced clinical psychologist who has worked across not for profit, public and private sectors. I am skilled in delivering psychological interventions for adolescents and adults experiencing: anxiety and stress-related disorders, mood disorders, perfectionism, adjustment issues, LGBTIQA+ related stresses, single incident and complex trauma, attachment and relationship issues, and grief and loss. I have a particular interest in working with grief and loss and complex trauma.
I am warm, caring, and down to earth and my approach is practical and collaborative. I work in a holistic, client-centred way, tailoring my approach to an individual’s therapeutic needs and challenges. I am trained in a number of evidence-based approaches including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, Schema therapy, somatic and mindfulness-based approaches and Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I am also a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor and provide individual clinical supervision for psychologists, social workers, and other allied health professionals.
I believe in fostering a safe, non-judgemental, and supportive space for individuals to explore themselves, their relationships, and their world to ultimately bring greater joy, fulfilment and meaning into their lives. I create a space that encourages humour, play and creativity, and I value therapeutic practice based in humility, integrity and authenticity.
